There’s nothing good to say about J. Scott’s murky, brutal new play. The kooky premise of this NihilistGELO production is that serial killer John Wayne Gacy was innocent, framed by FBI agents who were trying to send a message to gay men about the futility of resisting police power. Beware of graphic elements, including the simulated rape of a young man, a woman peeing onstage, many vicious slang terms for gay men, and a disturbing police interrogation. Muddled performances, occasional mumbling, and strange casting further detract from a show that’s almost unwatchable. Through 5/20: Fri-Sat midnight, No Exit Cafe, 6970 N. Glenwood, 312-835-0245, $15.
