Max Klinger’s famous ten-drawing set A Glove, depicting a sort of daydream the artist has about a glove he witnesses a woman drop at roller rink, is one of the Art Institute’s latest acquisitions. It’s on display trhough May 15–along with other works on paper from the museum’s collection and a display of antique women’s gloves on loan from the Historical Society–in the Prints and Drawings galleries of the museum, which of course is at Adams and Michigan. Hours are 10:30 to 4:30 weekdays (Tuesday till 8), 10 to 5 Saturday, and noon to 5 Sunday; suggested admission is $6.50, $3.25 for students, seniors, and children. 443-3600.
