Photographer Loren Santow (who frequently contributes to these pages) went to India last winter with the idea of capturing the country in photographs. Early on he decided that was impossible but kept on shooting, and 90 rolls of film later he had the 15 black-and-white shots–including Fisherman, City Of Cochin (above)–that are up at the Conrad Sulzer Regional Library, 4455 N. Lincoln, through March 30. The library is open 9 to 9 Monday through Thursday, 9 to 5 Friday and Saturday, and admission is free; call 728-8652 for more infomation.
