DON’T TURN OUT THE LIGHTS | The titular advice is a bit beside the point, since nothing in Corn Productions’ Halloween revue for kids is terribly scary. A better name might be “Don’t Go Longer Than an Hour.” They don’t, and this string of sketches set at Berwyn Middle School is silly enough to satisfy even the most critical eight-year-old. The half-dozen or so vignettes, written by a host of regular Corn scribes, are unrelated, and with no director credited, it’s no surprise that the whole thing is pretty sloppy. But there’s a Pixie Stix rush to the proceedings, and you can’t really lose with Cornventional gimmicks like a flying mutant infant attacking her babysitter. Check the candy bucket in the lobby for Pop Rocks. Through 11/21: Sat-Sun 2 PM. Cornservatory, 4210 N. Lincoln, 312-409-6435. $5-$10.
