Michael Miner, in his April 18 Hot Type column, complains that newspaper columnists write about trivialities or politics. Yet in the same column he twice dismissed Paul Krugman–the rare columnist who consistently does substantive work–as a Bush basher. You can’t have it both ways. Michael Glass Glen Ellyn
