Martin's Corner

Stepping into the door of Martin’s Corner is kind of like jumping through a wormhole in the space-time continuum and being spit out in the era where Jordan was king and Ditka was god. And it’s not just because of the “Repeat the Three-peat” posters that cover the walls. It’s also the clientele: gray-haired, mustached ringers for Bill Swerski’s Superfans from Saturday Night Live. They swill Miller Lite and yell at the TV in thick Chicago accents. These are the types of guys who share a completely irony-free love for “Rock and Roll Part 2” by Gary Glitter and “Eye in the Sky” by the Alan Parsons Project. Easily the best company in the city to watch the game with.
