Today from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, Anne Parry — director of the Office of Violence Prevention at the Chicago Department of Public Health — will give a “psychological first aid” workshop at the King Center (4314 S. Cottage Grove). Through discussion, role-playing, and team exercises, attendees will learn how to help others who have been exposed to traumatizing events. Refreshments will be served.
