Tomorrow from 10 AM to 2 PM, Cook County Commissioner Edwin Reyes sponsors a job and benefits fair for area veterans at the Saint James Auditorium (2430 N. Mango). Representatives from the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans Assistance Commission, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, and other state government agencies will join reps from local and federal agencies and not-for-profits in providing career and legal counseling. Attendees can also receive flu shots, diabetes and cholesterol screenings, and physical examinations will be available for kids. Vets should bring resumes and ID. Free parking is available.
