12 O’Clock Track: Cave In, “Sing My Loves”

I chose today’s 12 O’Clock Track on account of a mistake in an e-mail I sent to Reader music editor Philip Montoro. I’d tried to write him a note saying that “Cave is playing,” but I made a typo so that it read “Cave in playing.” Philip thought I might mean Cave In, the band. I, on the other hand, had almost forgotten that the Boston space-metal act had ever existed. From what I’d last heard, they’d called it a day in 2006—but apparently they’re active again, and released a full-length last year.
