MC Shy Glizzy last week via a short, simple tweet from Washington Post music critic Chris Richards: “D.C. rap fans, this new @shyglizzy mixtape is a must.” I like to keep tabs on the music scene in my old hometown (not least because I contribute to the Washington City Paper), and I trust Richards when it comes to new music—so I immediately downloaded that mix tape, Law.
