  • Over & Over

Columbus, Ohio, noise-pop band Times New Viking came full circle in October. Their first two records were released in 2005 and 2007 on Philadelphia-based weirdo label Siltbreeze. The band’s catchy pop leanings led to a deal with Matador in 2008, and three years later the band was on Merge for their Dancer Equired! LP. And here we are, in 2012, and Times New Viking’s latest effort, the 12-inch EP Over & Over, is out on Siltbreeze. With a return to their former label comes a return to form of sorts, and today’s 12 O’Clock Track, “Sleep-In” demonstrates that perfectly.
