Much-lauded graphic novelist and filmmaker Marjane Satrapi lectures at Columbia College’s Film Row Cinema (1104 S. Wabash) this Friday at 7 PM, followed by a Q and A session and book signing.  J.R. Jones calls Satrapi’s film Persepolis “the best foreign animation to play Chicago last year;” it’s based on her graphic memoir of the same name, which follows Satrapi’s coming of age in Iran during the Islamic Revolution.
