The Air Sex Championships are bearing down on Chicago like a sweaty, moaning freight train, and the only thing better than watching them would be watching them for free. Organizer Chris Trew is looking for more contestants, and says that anyone who performs will get free entry to the event, which starts at 8 PM on Sunday at the Logan Square Auditorium (2539 N. Kedzie), and otherwise costs $15.
Performers can appear in groups, but based on press photos of last year’s event in Austin, many appear onstage alone. Acts are limited to two minutes, and performers can bring their own music or choose a selection from the air sex music library. Aside from that, “the only important rule is that all sexual climaxes must be simulated, not real.” The winner will get a free flight and hotel room (but only for one person) for the world championships later this year.
Anyone interested in competing can email Trew at firstname.lastname@example.org.
