New Belgium Brewing Company’s Tour de Fat bike fest visits Logan Square Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM, bringing with it a lot of beer (for $5 a cup) and free entertainment. The festivities will take place in Palmer Square Park (3100 W. Palmer), starting with a bike parade open to all comers at 10 AM, followed by live music by “astounding circus punk marching band” Mucca Pazza and folk singer-songwriter Sean Hayes. There will also be rides on art bikes, a car funeral, and performances by the Squirm Burpee Circus, the Daredevil Chicken Club, and mini-bike dance group The Sprockettes. And one lucky soul will trade his or her car for a new bike and trailer.
