Add Jake to the list of higher-end boutiques attempting to draw shoppers in with items priced significantly lower than their usual offerings. The store’s new in-store pop-up shop, “It’s Great to Be Jake,” features clothes and accessories priced between $50 and $250, as well as vintage pieces, “apothecary items,” and gift ideas. Owners Lance Lawson and Jake Wetzel say they saw an opportunity to offer cool things they found on buying trips that wouldn’t mesh with the store’s original concept. Find them at  the Rush Street and Winnetka locations.
