Nine days into its do-or-die fundraising campaign, About Face Theatre announced today that it has netted $100,000 so far. They’re “thrilled,” but need $200,000 more by the end of March. You can still catch their current production, Stupid Kids, in its final weekend at the Center on Halsted. The Reader’s Albert Williams says this gutsy, high-energy show suggests a bright future for the company–that’s if it has a future at all.
