Through 5/14: Michael Hernandez de Luna has been designing phony stamps and sticking them on envelopes for more than 20 years. His current exhibit at Carl Hammer Gallery (740 N. Wells), “Philatelic Adventures,” features new sheets of stamps displayed with the envelope that Hernandez de Luna mailed.
Tue 4/12: Schubas Tavern (3159 N. Southport) partners with New Belgium Brewing to host the New Belgium Beer Dinner, a five-course dinner featuring beet salad, beef sliders, and poached scallops, all with beer pairings. 6 PM
Tue 4/12: It’s about drinking and spelling at the Slurring Bee at Quenchers Saloon (2401 N. Western). For every word you spell right, take a shot and see if you come out the Queen Bee. 7 PM
