For the last few months, designer and SAIC assistant professor Anke Loh has offered her accessories for sale at Dose Market. The monthly events were successful enough to convince her to set up an online store featuring pieces inspired by her many collections and collaborations over the years: unusually textured scarves, shawls and scarves featuring patterns taken from images of Loh’s optical dresses in motion, T-shirts printed with a graphic comb design, and more. Many items are one-of-a-kind or limited editions, which Loh calls “an antidote against mass production and fast fashion.” T-shirts are $50, while other accessories run from $120 to $260.
