Amy Dickinson, the Chicago Tribune advice columnist known as “Ask Amy,” has finally (publicly) responded to criticism of the recent column in which she told a rape victim she was the victim of her “own awful judgment,” shied away from using the word “rape,” and instructed her to consult her rapist “in order to determine what happened.” Today, Dickinson printed a letter from “Disgusted,” who wrote:
