A small number of tickets for Jim James’s Obama fund-raiser Wednesday night at Schubas are still available. The price tag’s $100, which seems sorta steep for a cover charge considering the current scary-as-shit financial atmosphere, but then again your odds of ever seeing the My Morning Jacket front man in this small a venue again are close to nil and Jesus Christ isn’t Sarah Palin terrifying? Plus the more money the Obama campaign can raise from the hippie population, the likelier President Barry would be to legalize it, man.
