For the past 25 years, Beck’s beer has called upon artists including Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Yoko Ono, and Richard Long to design its annual limited edition label. Traditionally, Beck’s limited edition has only appeared in the United Kingdom, but this year in honor of their silver anniversary, they’ve expanded the collaborative line to the U.S. While M.I.A. is this year’s selected London artist—her design looks like psychedelic hippie ephemera—Beck’s also chose five American artists to design labels as well: calligrapher Aerosyn-Lex (New York City), graphic artist Geoff McFetridge (Los Angeles), Freegums (Miami), Burt Rodriguez (LA), and Chicago-based sculptor Willy Chyr. The 2012 limited edition was released today.
