It’s finally summer, at least according to the calendar, and Soundboard is more than ready. Tonight the Carolina Chocolate Drops drop by Pritzker Pavilion for a free show, and the Ungnomes play at Martyrs’. On Tuesday, Stinking Lizaveta headlines at Ultra Lounge and Smith Westerns play a free in-store at Reckless Records in support of their new album, Soft Will.
Wednesday’s entertainment includes Lamp at Quencher’s, Sabers at the Whistler, Two Gallants at Lincoln Hall, and the underrated Vic Spencer headlining a deep local hip-hop bill at the Tonic Room.
