I suppose this could be the wave of the future, though I sincerely hope not. Tomorrow is the official release date for a 30th anniversary edition of the classic Bob Marley album Exodus, which will be available in three standard formats: vinyl, a CD with 144-page book, and a CD/DVD package with footage of a concert from London’s Rainbow Theatre in June of 1977. More novel is the debut of a fourth format: limited edition USB memory sticks (get yours quick—there are only 4,000 of them). The stick includes all ten tunes from the album and three videos from the Rainbow concert. In the U.S. it’s available exclusively from bobmarley.com, but you have to shell out 45 bucks for the Bob Marley Passport Fan Club to land the gizmo.
