Califone, whose recent All My Friends Are Funeral Singers (Secretly Canadian) is one of the year’s best albums, are preparing to embark on another round of road gigs in late January. They’ll return to Chicago with shows at Lincoln Hall on March 9 and 10. On the first of those two nights they’ll reprise their October performances at the Museum of Contemporary Art, where they provided live musical accompaniment to the debut film by bandleader Tim Rutili, which shares its title with the new album and includes among its cast every member of the group.
