Nothing goes better with Bill Murray and Punxsutawney Phil than pizza and beer.

Time to plan the final weekend of January (hooray!). Here’s some of what we recommend:

Through 1/30: God Bless Baseball at the Museum of Contemporary Art (220 E. Chicago) is Toshiki Okada’s theatrical examination of Japan and Korea’s sports and pop-culture history. 7:30 PM

Fri 1/29: Chicago Slam Works presents Incendium at Stage 773 (1225 W. Belmont), a cabaret inspired by the afterlife. 8:15 PM

Sat 1/30: Eleven local breweries—Arcade Brewing, Finch’s Beer, and Sketchbook, among others—and local distilleries Koval and Rhine Hall will be offering samples at Winter Brew. There will be two tasting sessions at DANK Haus (4740 N. Western). 2-5 PM and 7-10 PM

Sat 1/30: Bakers can submit their pies in either the sweet or savory category for a chance to win $100 at Pie Fight 2016 at Emporium Arcade Bar (1366 N. Milwaukee). For those who are more into eating, whole pies and slices are available for purchase. All proceeds benefit 826Chi. 2:30 PM

Sat 1/30-Sun 1/31: Quimby’s recommends that zinesters, comic artists, and whoever else “bring yer jammies and a sleeping bag” for Zlumber Party—but attendees don’t actually have to stay all night. There will be snacks, coffee, and general merriment, plus the creative buzz of working alongside fellow artists at the indie bookstore (1854 W. North). RSVP required. 9:30 PM-6:30 AM

Sun 1/31: Tonight at the Skylark (2149 S. Halsted) is the debut of Broad Squad, a monthly show featuring games and comedy celebrating women. Ruthie Lichtenstein hosts and Rebecca O’Neal headlines. 8 PM

Sun 1/31: The Boiler Room (2210 N. California) presents a screening of the Bill Murray comedy Groundhog Day with a PBR-hosted bar for anyone who RSVPs. Pizza and other snacks available a la carte. 8 PM
