On Sunday from 4 to 8 PM the Green City Market Junior Board is hosting a fund-raiser, Masquerade del Mercado, at Carnivale. There’s an impressive roster of chefs, all but one of them past participants in our Key Ingredient chef’s challenge: Carnivale’s David Dworshak, Old Town Social’s Jared Van Camp, Sprout‘s Dale Levitski, the Bedford’s Mark Steuer, Nightwood’s Jason Vincent, Leopold’s Jeffrey Hedin, Small Bar’s Justin White, Patrick Sheerin of the forthcoming Trenchermen, and Greg Biggers of Cafe des Architectes. Choo Lipsky of MorSo, Clint Rogers of the Gage and Henri, and Sarah Busen of Tiny Lounge will be mixing up cocktails made with Death’s Door spirits; Goose Island brewmaster Jared Rouben will provide the beer, Tenzing Wines the vino.
