Tim Jackson’s 2008 Radical Jesters profiles 11 culture jammers and media hoaxers Wednesday 5/5 at 7 p.m. Jonathan Culp’s 2001 Canadian comedy Grilled Cheese Sandwich at 8:30 p.m.
Brazilian Shorts Friday 5/7 at 7 p.m. Pilsen filmmakers Vicky Cervantes and Alexy Lanza of Producciones en el Ojo’s video presentation on last year’s Honduran coup at 7:30. Maike Pricelius and Adrian Mengay’s 2010 documentary City of Favelas, about activism in the slums of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro at 8:30. Los Crudos vocalist Martin Sorrondeguy’s 1999 Latino punk documentary Beyond the Screams at 9:35.
Coleman Romalis’s 2004 Canadian biography Emma Goldman, the Anarchist Guest, Saturday 5/8 at 7 p.m. Culp’s “Satan Macnuggit Shorts” and Bella’s 2008 Outside of Their Homes at 7:45. Cary Cronenwett’s homoerotic faux-Bolshevik Maggots and Men at 8:30.
