Gapers Block reports that Toronto-based designer Bruce Mau, who headed up last year’s Massive Change exhibit at the MCA, is moving to Chicago–like, personally, with his family–and opening an office here ’cause he likes our “energy and talent pool.” We like his energy and talent pool too. The book cover pictured, from Manuel de Landa’s A Thousand Years of Nonlinear History, was the work that brought Mau to my attention before I was even particularly interested in design.
