Dancing and music have a symbiotic relationship in footwork, but the two aren’t always experienced together. If you want to get the full footwork experience—not just the musical aspect provided by the new DJ Rashad tribute compilation, Next Life—then you might want to drop by High Concept Laboratories tomorrow: hyperactive dance collective the Era are leading a footwork workshop in the afternoon. If you aspire to bust a move to tracks that fly by at 160 beats per minute then this is a great place to start. And if you can’t make it tomorrow the Era hosts another workshop next Saturday, so plan accordingly. Both sessions start at 2 PM and cost $15 each.
