Today and tomorrow from 10 AM to 4 PM at Millennium Park’s Chase Promenade, a 1972 Airstream will display innovative designs like a personal point-of-use filter that removes disease-causing contaminants from water and inexpensive glasses with liquid-filled lenses that can be adjusted to different prescriptions without a doctor’s help. They’re part of the Design Revolution Road Show, a traveling exhibit that showcases 40 of the items from Design Revolution: 100 Products That Empower People, a new book by School of the Art Institute grad Emily Pilloton. Tonight at 6 PM, Pilloton gives a talk at the SAIC ballroom (112 S. Michigan).
