Local bridal designer Veronica Sheaffer is getting lots of buzz for her vintage-inspired wedding gowns (remember, you read about her here first). For fall 2012, she’s moving away from the full-skirt designs of past collections and into a slightly more contemporary look, using draped silk tulle, feathers, velvet leaves, and beading as accents. Sheaffer said she was inspired by the velvet leaves to create a collection with “a woodland princess vibe,” although she stresses that it is still in line with her classic feminine aesthetic.
