This week’s batch of Early Warnings is heavy on hardcore and metal, with Desaster, the Dillinger Escape Plan, Hate Eternal, Sheer Terror, and just regular old Terror all announcing dates. The Mid, still a relatively new venue, continues to roll out impressive shows as well: A-Trak, Kid Sister, and Gaslamp Killer are teaming up for a night in early May that promises to be just as sweaty but a little more dance-friendly.
Also on the docket are performances by Here We Go Magic at Schubas, Eisley at Bottom Lounge, Lil B the Based God at House of Blues, Jaga Jazzist at Lincoln Hall, and Seefeel at the Empty Bottle. Shows by old-timers announced this week include the Beach Boys at the Auditorium Theatre in June and Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band at the Allstate Arena in mid-May. (“Night Moves” may be 35 years old, but I guarantee you the boys are gonna tear it a new one.)
