The flood of announcements for summer club shows is slowing to a trickle as outdoor festivals poach bands from smaller venues. But amphitheaters, arenas, and pavilions are cashing in, like they always do, with plenty of big names rolling through town in their tour-bus cavalcades. Soundgarden, Lauryn Hill, Kings of Leon, and R. Kelly are just a few announced this week.

Other notables include Bon Iver at the Chicago Theatre, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony at Congress Theater, Fucked Up at Lincoln Hall, Corrosion of Conformity at Reggie’s Rock Club, and Future Islands at Subterranean.

The Irish American Heritage Festival and the Chicago Folk & Roots Festival also both announced their initial lineups.
