It’s always nice to be able to make birthday plans two and a half months ahead of time, and thanks to the Empty Bottle I no longer have to think about how I’ll entertain myself on the first day of April. Please feel free to swing on by Logan Square Auditorium (where the Bottle regularly books shows), check out the fantastic Black Lips and Box Elders, and wish me a happy birthday. (Yes, it’s true. I was born on April Fool’s Day.) Then we can head over to the Bottle’s restaurant and inn, Longman & Eagle (which should be open by the end of this month), for a Black Lips afterparty.
