This week’s marquee show announcements include the Queens of the Stone Age performing their 1998 self-titled debut in its entirety at the Riviera on April 1 and what’s being called the “Wax Trax! Records Retrospectacle: 33 1/3 Year Anniversary,” which goes down April 15 and 16 at Metro and features Front 242, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Rights of the Accused, and others.
Other notable Early Warnings include former Bauhaus vocalist Peter Murphy at Reggie’s Rock Club, recent Grammy nominee Florence + the Machine at the Aragon Ballroom, the Twilight Singers with Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s at Metro, the English Beat at SPACE in Evanston, and Swedish metal dudes Amon Amarth at Bottom Lounge.
