Here’s my dirty little fashion secret (and no, it’s not that I like to eat):I don’t watch Project Runway. I don’t like reality shows in general, and I don’t even have cable. I will admit that the few times I’ve seen the show I have enjoyed seeing what the designers do with the clothes, although you have to sit through an hour of bitchiness and TK to get there.

Anyway, that’s all to say that I haven’t seen “TK,” the new fashion reality show starring Isaac Mizrahi, but based on TK’s review in the NYT, I might be more inclined to do so than its older sibling, inspite of the inclusion of Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland, who, in the tradition of reality show cohosts everywhere, apparently needed something to keep her busy. It sounds like there’s a lot less TK. I’m sure Mizrahi is being nothing but honest when he says after a fashion show by the contestants, “If any of these people worked for me, they would be fired immediately.” Frankly I’ve felt the same after many of our local fashion shows. That’s the real world, folks. Drama and a TK attitude isn’t going to get you a paycheck.
