Personally I’m digging Kanye’s emo Auto-Tune freak-out, but I understand where the haters are coming from. In case you want some new old-style Kanye in your life, DJ Benzi and Plain Pat just dropped their new Sky High Kanye remix collection. Like the list of contributors suggests–Diplo, A-Trak, and Cousin Cole all make appearances–it’s a dancier take on Ye’s catalog. A personal favorite is Nick Catchdubs’s reworking of “Champion,” which replaces the original’s Steely Dan sample with the “Mama Said Knock You Out” instrumental and a bunch of new samples that play off Kanye’s name-dropping habit.
