This week’s edition of Gossip Wolf kicks off with the scoop on Humboldt Park, the forthcoming posthumous debut from local experimental four-piece Teith; check out the column for all the details on the long-awaited LP and Saturday’s Humboldt Park listening party at the Empty Bottle.

The Wolf also mentioned that we’d premiere a track from the album called “Don’t Obfuscate Me” right here on the Bleader. As promised, here’s the fourth song from Humboldt Park, and it’s a doozy; “Don’t Obfuscate Me” showcases Teith’s blend of melodic shoegaze, lumbering metal, and gnarled electronica. At times the song’s squealing synths remind me of departed Brooklyn art-rock group Parts & Labor. Check out the tune below and take a listen to a couple other Humboldt Park tracks on Migration Media’s Bandcamp page.
