“Hacktivist” Jeremy Hammond, who “boasted he stole personal information from hundreds of thousands of people,” was just arrested in Chicago, the Sun-Times reported Tuesday. The arrest followed an FBI raid on his Bridgeport home.

Hammond was profiled in the Reader in 2005 by Chris Hayes, now the weekend morning host on MSNBC. Hammond was in trouble with the FBI back then, too. He told Hayes, “I’m fucking scared shitless. They’re saying 30 years in jail. They’re threatening to just ruin my life, essentially.”
