I always feel sorry for the employers of infamous dumbasses, but this time it’s close to my heart. Turns out Sami Samir Hassoun, the guy who tried to plant a bomb in a Wrigleyville garbage can (I’m guessing in retaliation for the Dave Mathews tour bus incident), briefly worked at two Albany Park bakeries, Nazareth Sweets and Sanabel Bakery, home of the world’s greatest coconut macaroons. So says NBC (second clip).

It goes without saying that this news should not stop anyone from continuing to purchase Nazareth’s syrupy good harissa or the best $1.50 breakfast money can buy.
