Judas Priest are in town tonight, playing the Venue at the Horseshoe Casino, and what better way to celebrate their arrival than by listening to Judas Priest? Listening to them all weekend long maybe. It’s really difficult to pick just one Priest song to listen to right now, but for today’s 12 O’Clock Track I’ll settle on “Hell Bent for Leather” from the British heavy metal legends’ 1978 release Killing Machine. This song is everything great about Judas Priest in a neat two-and-a-half-minute-long banger: motorcycle-engine rhythms, piles of hard-as-hell guitar riffs, shreddy solos, and the over-the-top vocals of Rob Halford. This band will never be not good.
