This news is a little creaky, but I’m going to blame the Snowpocalypse for obscuring my in-box. This week the School of the Art Institute announced that Ikram Goldman, the creative force and proprietor behind nationally prominent Gold Coast boutique Ikram, will be the recipient of the Legend of Fashion award for 2011. Sally Singer, former Vogue fashion news editor and current T: The New York Times Style Magazine editor, will present Goldman with the award at The Walk, the school’s annual gala in May. Maybe this will ease the pain of not getting to dress Michelle Obama anymore (according to Cathy Horyn at the New York Times).
