A no doubt historical moment for the eyeliner set will happen tonight at the Debonair Social Club, when Matt Skiba and Derek Grant from Alkaline Trio join Greg Corner from Kill Hannah and Scott Lucas from Local H to form a cover-band supergroup. Corner tells me that it’s strictly a one-off thing for a friend’s birthday party, that their set will include songs by Fugazi, Mission of Burma, and the Misfits, and that as of right now they don’t have a name. Interested parties should probably show up very early—I’m guessing there will be a line.
