Brian Herzlinger’s unexpected-pregnancy comedy Baby on Board, starring Heather Graham and shot in Chicago, has its local premiere Tuesday in the Midwest Independent Film Festival. Graham plays a professional woman who suspects her divorce attorney husband of cheating just as she learns she’s pregnant. With Lara Flynn Boyle, John Corbett, and Katie Finneran. Herzlinger’s 2004 documentary My Date With Drew followed the director’s quixotic romantic pursuit of Drew Barrymore.
The screening is preceded by Steve Weiss, president of local camera supplier Zacuto and producer/host of the indie film Web talk show FilmFellas, presenting new equipment that was unveiled at the National Association of Broadcasters’ NAB Show last month in Las Vegas.
