A new class is entering the Chicago Fashion Incubator, the city’s yearlong program that offers production space, equipment, and training to aspiring designers. Tonight the six new designers that make up the class of 2011 will be officially introduced at a fund-raiser for the organization. It takes place at the CFI’s retail space on the fifth floor of the 900 Shops, 900 N. Michigan, from 6 to 8 PM, with introductions at 7 PM. Tickets are $25 and are available online. Following the event, from March 17 through April 23, the CFI will run a pop-up shop in the space to showcase work by CFI graduates from the last four years.
