These days most mentions of Megafaun refer to this trio from Durham, North Carolina, as former members of DeYardmond Edison, a group originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I’d never heard of that band, let alone heard their music, until such references started popping up—they gained fame only after another former member, Justin Vernon, broke out as Bon Iver.
