Crain’s is reporting that “more than a dozen” newsroom employees were laid off today from the Tribune, with more to come next month. Time Out New York, which owns half of Time Out Chicago, is on the block because its investors want out. And the Reader‘s parent company, Creative Loafing, is of course bankrupt; we’ve got about a month to twiddle our thumbs until we find out our fate.

On the other hand, we will all be learning valuable life lessons! Just like homeless people do!
