A “festival” of performances stretched across five months will bring eleven newly commissioned dance works by local companies to Roosevelt University’s Auditorium Theatre stage, its Katten/Landau Studio, and other locations around the city this winter and spring.

The Music + Movement Festival will pair dance companies with musicians for performances that begin in February and extend through June. The schedule includes “Havana Blue,” by River North Dance Chicago and Orbert Davis’ Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, which was already slated as part of the Auditorium Theatre’s 2012-13 Season.
