Friends have recently alerted me to a couple of interesting resources on the Web. Charlie Rose’s interview with the Mexican directors Alfonso Cuaron (pictured), Guillermo del Toro, and Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu—the focus of my current long review in the Reader—is now available, albeit with commercials, at Ain’t It Cool News. And there’s a terrific site for accessing many experimental films and documentaries about avant-garde artists at something called Ubuweb: Film & Video, whose name, I assume, was inspired by Alfred Jarry’s Ubu Roi.
