Salon’s tech blog, Machinist, notes a Lollapalooza rumor more interesting than any of the gossipy blind items floating around: Pearl Jam says the audio glitches during AT&T’s webcast of their set, which came when Eddie Vedder sang a few anti-Bush sentiments to the tune of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall,” weren’t glitches but rather censorship. AT&T says this was “a mistake by one of the webcast editors.”
I say it sounds like the jump-off for a cyberthriller starring EdVed’s piggy-back buddy.
